Asking for return & exchange foe another bag just like it. Very soft & quantity leatherThis bag arrived quickly, sooner than expected. It has a beautiful leather smell, so I know it's real leather. The leather is not butter soft, and not saddle ready; so it's a perfect medium between a lovely soft leather that is durable. I'm hard on bags. Very pleased with this product. I bought the cognac color as I want leather to look like leather. The color is as expected. Strap can be long or short, for an easy cross-body carry or as a shoulder strap-carry. When traveling, I like the cross-body carry because I don't want any of my hands tied up with my bag; I have enough with the luggage. I love the zipper in the flap area. It's a more secure spot than in the main compartment of the bag, for carrying my passport, with ease of access. I would recommend only carrying flat items (ie. passport, important papers, etc) in the flap zipper area. Bulkier items in the flap interfere with proper lay of the flap. I would recommend this item to a friend and/or rebuy it.Love this purse. The leather is extremely soft and it molds to YOUR hip (if you like to wear it long). This is important because some leather bags stick out from your hip. This doesn't. This bag collapses when you sit it down, which I love. Perfect as a cross-body bag. Does not need to be broken in, like some bags. Extremely roomy. I carry 2 eye glass cases, a 7" tablet, a full-size wallet, a make-up bag, and a hair brush. With all that my stuff does not seem crammed into the bag. I love the flap, but what I REALLY love is that it zips close, so you NEVER have to worry about your items falling out. Inside the bag there are two distinct compartments, one in the front and one in the back, separated by a zippered compartment. All compartments run the FULL width of the bag. Genius! You can't go wrong with this bag if you are looking to put quite-a-bit of stuff in ONE bag. I have even added my lunch: a yogurt, sliced apples, a granola bar, and a spoon.I have never felt leather softer than this exquisitely crafted handbag and the colors are incredibly vibrant and bright! I bought this as a birthday present to myself and everything about this bag was exactly what I was hoping for. There aren't handbags like this just anywhere. The quality of care they put into shipping it to me alone showed me how high their standards of quality stood. Mine came wrapped in tissue, plastic AND a cloth bag, as well as one cloth bag was sent to me so I could store or travel with it safely and not compromise the leather. The tassel is always the first thing I look at because you can tell so much by the quality of a tassel. It is lovely, extremely well made and adds just the right amount of character. Now the only thing I would change in the design would be the strap length to make it possible to wear cross body. The strap is adjustable, but it is meant to be carried, not long enough to wear across your body (believe me I've tried - and I'm a small thing!) Other than that this handbag is stunning, stylish and most of all, ChicI love this bag for the color ( warm tan color), the great quality of the soft leather, the big roomy compartments, and the fact that it zips closed, and has a generous flap that folds over, so my things stay put. The strap is adjustable to lengths from "under the armpit" to "messenger bag" cross-body. CAVEAT: the SMELL. It stinks really, really bad. They have treated the leather with something and it smells chemical-ly and it is STRONG and has not gone away yet. I've had the bag for a month and the smell is decreasing, but if I leave it in my car overnight, my car smells intensely like someone has sweat all over an old balloon. I believe the smell will go away at some point. It's bad, but not bad enough that I won't purchase another TL bag. I really like it!I really like the bag. The shape and leather was perfect for me. It was roomy which I loved. I have a lot of stuff and it would have fit in it but they sent me the wrong color/textured bag so I’m going to return it and reorder the bag I wanted which was the bag pictured. They did send me a return label. Great customer service.I received the bag today very quickly, only three days from Italy which was nice, and the leather is as beautiful and soft as everyone has said in their reviews. Unfortunately, it's the oddest thing that the bag is not a true black, in fact it reads as a dark almost walnut brown. My sister looked at the bag and immediately asked me why I ordered a brown bag. And as someone who wears a lot of black, it really doesn't look great with my wardrobe. Very sad because the leather is lovely. My only other complaint is that they should really add a slip pocket or little zipper pocket in the back for keys and phone. I find bags without any exterior pockets a bit inconvenient, but that's just me. Anyways, here are some pics for anyone else whose interested in the black color...beautiful quality Tuscan leather which smells lovely too. Plenty of room and separate compartments. The bag itself is a little bit heavy but am prepared to put up with that, in fact have emptied out all my unwanted rubbish I tend to carry around with me so it has proved helped me tidy up a bit. Shoulder strap is long enough to wear across the body or can be shortened as required depending on where you like to carry your bag.Updated review - having used my lovely bag for some months, am rather disappointed that one of the metal clasps keeps coming undone resulting in the bag falling unexpectedly to the floor. most annoying. not sure whether its a faulty clasp but have had to use another bag for now. too late to send it back now.Lovely shoulder bag. Beautiful soft leather. Lots of room for essentials. I have the smaller shoulder bag, similar to this which held everything including my filofax but there wasn't any spare room with all my items in it. This has plenty of room and I am so pleased with the purchase. Now I have both bags I can use one when I want extra room and the smaller version when I don't need extra room.I am also very impressed with the fast and fantastic service from Tuscany Leather. Ordered on the Monday afternoon. Dispatched an hour later, on my doorstep in the UK Thursday. Well ahead of the estimated delivery date!!!Beautiful bag. Just as I wanted. Very light.
