Description

Take your training to the next level as you practice offense and defense with a single bag. This hybrid slip ball/punching bag has the energy absorption of all our Aqua Training Bags, but at a size and weight that lets you practice timing, accuracy, and movement. Built to go round after round, this bag has the durability and heft to be able to take all your power punches, and the size to swing around to practice your speed and timing. Strike and dodge this head-sized bag anywhere — it’s waterproof, UV resistant, and safe for outdoor use. Want a heavier Head Hunter with more surface area to strike? Grab our 12 inch, 35 pound bag. All bags come backed by a 2-year limited warranty.

Features

PUNCH WITH PRECISION — It’s not called “Head Hunter” for nothing. This head-sized slip ball lets you practice your technique and accuracy as you hunt it down while it moves. Let loose with a variety of strikes — its round shape lets you practice your jabs, hooks, uppercuts, and more.

SLIP, BLOCK, DODGE — The movement of the slip ball forces you to work on your head movement, footwork, speed, timing, and defense. Let it swing normally or have a trainer keep you guessing where it’s going to go next.

UNIQUE DESIGN ABSORBS STRIKES— our water-filled bag absorbs your kinetic energy no matter you strike the bag. Protect your hands and joints by switching to an aqua bag.

BUILT TOUGH— Like all Aqua Training Bags, the Head Hunter was designed to be able to take any punch or kick, so give it all you’ve got! Made from thick-walled vinyl, it’s a strong, durable training tool that will last for years to come.

TAKE IT ANYWHERE— Small, waterproof, and UV-resistant, face off with your Head Hunter bag wherever you can find a spot to hang it. Move it inside, outside, wherever to switch up your routine and keep things interesting.

Ok, so I originally wrote a review a few years ago but I’m scrapping that and here is everything you need to know. The 12 inch (35 lb) Aqua bag is NOT a bag that you’re going to pound away on although you can. The intent of this bad is to practice 1–2-Hook combos, and light uppercuts. Light meaning don’t smash it so it lifts off into the air it’s 35 lbs if filled to the brim.HOW MUCH TO PUT IN: 32 to 33 lbs is the sweet spot I found. Once you get to 34 lbs to 35 lbs, which by the way don’t go over the bad loses the ability to swing easily unless you hit like a tank. I personally have 33 lbs.WHAT IT COMES WITH: The bag, Water filling Nozzle, and a stopper plug. It comes with the horseshoe shackle, but does not come with a chain. Buy a decent one at Home Depot or Lowe’s. Will cost like $6 or $8.HOW HIGH TO HANG: Around head height or a Tad above. The Sensor they sell separately will NOT work with his bag.Ok, so my overall opinion, I like this bag it’s not to replace a slip bag it’s not replace a double End bag, however it gives me the ability to punch and move, slip punches and put some power behind it without going overboard. Now, because it is water based, and water is dense, whatever you’re hanging from make sure it holds at least three times the amount that you’re feeling. For example, it’s 35 pounds, it should be able to hold at least 100 pounds. If you’re looking for a bag that you’re gonna pound away on and put everything you want into it get the next size up. If looking for a bag that you could move, hit and slip this is the perfect bag. They do make a smaller head hunter 9 inch or 12 lbs. It's pointless. Get a slip bag for half the cost or just make one for $10.Oh, make sure you use boxing gloves. Just because it's water and rubber on the outside does not mean you won't get hurt.If I had my personal choice and I had to chose between 3 bags to have. This is a must. And then either a wrecking ball bag or angle bag. Both have major benefits so really all 3 bags but who has thar money... Lol.Have fun and work they footwork
