One more thing: I use a fluorescent orange handle wrap that fit perfectly on my last suitcase. It’s loose on the Lucas bag because the handle is more narrow and I can’t even use it on the side faux handle. Update: I used this bag for a trip to Europe and it was okay. I hated that the three zippers in the lid didn’t hold much. I prefer one big zipper in which I could put my pajamas, robe, underwear, etc. They seemed to get lost among my clothes. I also missed the one long zipper along the side that I used to put medicine, gum, receipts, etc. The little faux handle along the side was also not helpful. A real handle would be better. The bag was sturdy and made the trip fine. I was worried about the fabric, but it held up. The bag was dirty when I got home and I wiped it off with a damp cloth. All in all the bag did well, but I missed the convenience of the zippers in my old Samsonite bag.Since I haven’t traveled with the luggage yet, I’m basing this review on trying it out in the house. It seems light and durable, but there is an awful manufacturing smell inside. Airing it out seems to help with the smell. There are three zippered compartments in the lid and I gave the luggage four stars because the inside zippers appear to be very cheap. Also, the three compartments aren’t really big enough to put anything in. I prefer one large zippered compartment so that I know where everything is. There’s nothing worse than opening and closing several zippers in which to find something. I bought this 24 inch bag to replace a 25 inch bag that has become a little unmanageable. I’m traveling to Europe in March so I will update at that time.It’s light weight and easy to maneuver. However, front is too soft especially if it’s being checked at airport. Print is really pretty.Packed very well & moved very wellPacked everything I needed for a five night trip to Nashville, including 3 pair of shoes. The expandable zipper will be useful too. Love the look and maneuverability.Loved this bag and probably worth the investment for a year. Someone got a little rough and ripped it where the handle goesI bought one of these suitcases sometime ago from another store where I only found one and this was sometime ago. I love that one and so when I needed good luggage to go a long distance this time I decided to try Lucas again. But what I have found in the last two Lucas suitcases is that these two are not half as sturdy or as well constructed as the first one. I am moving across country but not until next month so I haven’t actually had the chance to use these two yet. I certainly do hope that they will last as well as that original first one that I bought a couple of years ago.Love it! Love that is also expands. Great quality.I am very happy with this suitcase. I used it for a short trip last week and it was great. I didn’t take much, but used packing cubes, and there was lots of roomLightweight, and smooth rolling. I love the way it looks, I think it is very pretty,And easy to spot on the baggage belt. Of course it had poms and tassels attached?I just got this so can’t speak as to it’s durability, but the zippers were smooth, and the handle works great.
