I recently purchased this for my new Roland JD-Xi to protect it when travelling. Well designed case with pockets for cables and such. It is padded on the inside for protection but not what I would call, heavily padded. The bag has a strap for carrying, and is extremely light weight. I am a sucker for "Promotion" so I wanted an actual Roland branded case and probably could find a less expensive carry bag without the branding, but I am happy with the overall design and am glad Roland didn't cut corners on this case.
