I just received this in the mail and I love it. It is well constructed and the material is very soft. It is a super soft velvet velour type fabric, and I have yet to see how this will hold up. I will update my review if I have any problems with cleaning it. Also note the bag as pictured online had a gray strap but mine was pink. I don't mind this, I think it would've been cute either way. It's a good length and can comfortably be carried on your shoulder or could be worn as a cross body bag around your neck. I like the padding and I like the width of the strap. I worried that the white binding won't stay clean though. We shall see.It did not come with an option to have it monogrammed like I originally thought, but no big deal with the great sale price I got on this. I only paid $20.99. I will take it to a local shop and have it monogrammed soon. When I first opened the package, I had an immediate concern that there was no hard plastic insert to go in the bottom to help it hold it shape. The bag seemed quite floppy and I was worried that it kept collapsing. I put some blankets inside to take pictures, and by the time I was done the bag was actually holding its shape while empty, so I guess it just needs to reform itself after being flattened for shipping. The changing pad that comes with it is thicker than some others I have seen, but is only vinyl with maybe a Cotton polyester blend binding around it, so I'm sure it will be easy to wipe clean. I read on the only other review I could find about this bag that there was a smell. I stiffed mine thoroughly and concluded that the only smell was from the vinyl vinyl and/or the new fabric. The smell was very faint, and not overpowering. I'm sure that if you sniff anything new there will be a smell.I then decided to do a packing test. Just to see how much I could get in there...The pockets on the inside don't run to the bottom of the bag. Instead they are situated in the top and go down to the bottom one third of the bag. I thought this was very different from what I've seen in other diaper bags, but after my stuff test I realized the anything in the pockets would have taken up the space in the bottom of the bag so this is actually a more space-efficient design .This bag holds a lot....I stuffed in:12 size 2 Huggies diapers,a grooming kita full size box of Huggies wipesan outfit--jacket, pants, and onesiea footed sleeper,(All size 3-6 months)In the three side pockets: full sized bottle of lotionburp clothfull sized baby powdernuk bottleIn the opposite side full pocket (which has a convenient zipper)two bibspair of sockshat and two headbandsThere was still a little room on top so I stuffed in a 36 x 30 inch fluffy fleece blanket and a lil doll lovie.It was a tight fit, but the bag held it all, zipped properly, and still kept its shape. I probably overstuffed it, but there are times you might need to bring a lot with you, and you don't want two bags.Again, I love this bag and can't wait to start using it. It was worth much more than I paid for it, so if you're buying it for the full price of $84 you will get your moneys worth and be quite satisfied too.bought this simply because of a great deal/price and the cute pattern. It is not at all practical as a diaper bag. Very few pockets for storage and not much bigger than a large purse. Can't say i'd recommend as a main diaper bag, perhaps a secondary, backup bag? Also the included changing pad is just a cheap piece of foam covered in standard plastic, not matching,nor cute as many other bags do. At the 20$ range this was fine, but i wouldn't pay more than that by any stretch.Had to return. I really wanted to like this. Made in the USA. Functional. But, when it arrived it had a terrible odor, so I washed it---it still had a terrible odor. So I washed it again---no change. I contacted the manufacturer who stated that it should not. But, I returned it. I was worried about the smell.It's an ok bag. Had it two weeks and the strap came un stitched. It wasn't even a very full bag. Had diapers and a thing of wipes and little baby things. Not worth the price, but i had lots of compliments on it when I did use it.I really love this diaper bag and get lots of complements on it.
