Use as a to and from work bag, not as a patrol bag. Enough pockets and ways to customize so your organized but not over the top. Handles a ton of weight with ease. Fits a YETI rambler 36 in the water bottle pocket perfectly. Could probably hold a YETI 46 but can’t confirm. Front pocket works great for CCW. Only “issue” is the p-cord zipper pulls were all very loose and you’ll have to re-tie all of them.I have used this bag for hunting trips and work trips all over the country. It is big enough to carry a few day trips to another city with ease and works at the range just as well though its size makes it easy to overload for a range trip. As good as this bag is you are paying a premium for the name and materials but that being said i've never pulled a zipper out or busted a stitch so Maxpedition seems to be doing something right. This is my fourth of their bags and they have all been built to an exceptional level of craftsmanship.I'm a police officer who's been using this bag for about 2 weeks and it's awsome. After I bought the Centurian, I started to notice the like-bags (read: cheaper) that other officer use &, once again, Maxpedition seems to be in a class by themselves. For example, The Centurian has starched-type handles that keep the straps from getting circle-wrapped. That's a feature none of the other bags have & something that really annoyed me about my old bag. I even found a secret place to hide an extra handgun! The less expensive bags use cheap velcro, small zippers, thinner fabric with collapsing side walls and some of those have so many pockets that you forget what's where. The only reason this bag's not 5 stars is the price but after you have it for a while, THAT sting wears off & you realize it was TOTALLY worth it. It sucks it's getting dirty & beat up riding around in the trunk of my patrol car but that's what I bought it for.I am not a pro photographer, just a hobbyist, who has way to much money wrapped up in his hobby. I needed a bigger bag for when I go out to shoot on location, for workshops, or shooting a family vacation.I purchased this prior to a vacation, looking for something that would allow me to carry my camera gear on the plane, in one bag. I use Maxpedition bags for other things in my life, so I saw this, and figured why not give it a try. I was very surprised how much this bag holds and it passed in size for the carry on bag. This bag held a ton of gear:2 dslr bodies,1 point and shoot camera, 3 speedlights, two portable battery packs for speedlights, 1 70-200mm lens, 1 50mm lens, 1 18-55mm lens, lensbaby composer with three optic swap kits, 1 15 inch laptop, remote flash trigger system, a few small light modifiers, memory cards, cleaning kit, and filters. The bag still had more room to put things in and is made with quality materials.I've been using this duty bag for just shy of 2 years. It's been put through the rigors of daily use in and out my personal car and patrol cars, thrown around on my front seat to floorboard while pursuit driving/responding to calls (I don't buckle it in). Loaded up with all kinds of gear and paperwork. Quality and material is still in excellent condition, no problems with zippers or anything. It's stiff, so the walls don't collapse in or out and everything stays where I need it. Highly recommended, especially after seeing my coworkers bags from other brands all fall apart. You get what you pay for and in my experience Maxpedition makes great gear. Expect to keep this bag in service for many years to come.I've been using this patrol bag at work for about a year and it holds more than enough equipment to get me through the day. I don't ever think about treating it with care, I pull it up from floorboards and out of truck beds by parts that it's not designed to be pulled by. I abuse this bag and not only does it hold up to all that, it looks good doing it.The water bottle holders on either side in the front fit Motorola radios perfectly. The window on the front isn't going anywhere any time soon (very tough). All the plastic pieces, zippers, and pulls have been yanked on, thrown about, and abused, without injury.Everything I needed in a patrol bag.I'm a start up engineer and travel all the time and have to carry a lot of stuff with me everywhere I go, basically my mobile office.I was actually worried that this bag may be too big, but it's not. This pictures are misleading. The bag is just the right size and everything works as advertized, I like it so much I purchased a second one for use as a range bag.I do have an issue with the front flap over the pen storage is starting to pull loose so i deducted one star.I plan on contacting Maxpedition about this issue. Still the best bag of its kind!Excellent case. Roomy. I use one of the bottle holders to hold a canister of d-lead wipes. Very durable fabric and construction. I use this as my range bag.well made well designedIch besitze die Tasche seit einem Jahr und nutze sie als Range Bag, da der Hauptreißverschluss abschließbar ist.
